Day 2 of my self imposed KINDNESS Challenge!
I KNOW that when I take care of myself, I am better able to care for those around me.
However, when it came time for my morning walk this morning, I seemed to have a list of excuses:
- Tooooooo hot!
- Toooooooo tired!
- My friend who I haven’t seen in a year stopped by
- Did I say toooooooo hot?!
But I KNOW that taking care of myself makes me better able to care for others:
- I KNOW that when my tank is full it overflows into all of my other relationships.
- I KNOW that when I take care of myself first, I am relaxed, connected, patient and calm.
- I KNOW I LOVE those endorphins! They keep me well fed!
- I KNOW I LOVE TO “hurt so good”!
- I KNOW I’ll feel so good after I walk! I’ll be so glad I did!
So, I started walking! So glad I did! 5 miles, baby!
