Wow! I’ve completed my 30 day KINDNESS Challenge! What I learned is that the better I take care of myself, the kinder I am to myself and the kinder I am to myself, the kinder I treat others! These 30 days have taught me to take better care of myself.
I also learned that you can’t “store up” self care or kindness. It’s a day by day process. Just like you can’t brush your teeth 7 times in one day and then not have to brush for the rest of the week, it’s impossible to store up self care.
For me, KINDNESS is a natural by-product of excellent self care. Now, a phrase like, “I’m going to take some ‘me time'” feels so liberating. Hearing my son say, “Mommy, you should go take some ‘mommy time'” is music to my ears. He’s going to make someone very happy one day!
So, spread the KINDNESS, take good care of yourself!!
