Will is away at college, not yet home for the holidays. Jami was singing at a memorial service, so I was home alone tending to the “short girl – tall tree light situation”. I love decorating the tree, grateful for the spacious afternoon to do so.
What I didn’t expect was the flood of emotions that streamed through my body throughout the afternoon. Deep pockets of “aloneness” coursed through my body realizing that my mom, dad, and sister have all passed on. Vulnerable feelings of how fleeting life can be.
And then, as those big feelings emptied themselves, a wave of clear, clean, pristine inner peace, gratitude and connection to something greater than myself filled my being.
The Soul appears when the body becomes still.
This time of year can unearth emotions that we’ve been holding in our bodies. We can experience emotional dis-regulation and project it onto our children and those closest to us. When we give ourselves permission to slow down and create some spaciousness, we can “work out” these feelings rather than “act out” those feelings onto those around us.
Let’s give our nervous system a break this year. This is what I want for each of us.
Not a day goes by that a client doesn’t express to me the deep desire to live more connected to their Soul and Spirit while they are on earth. Not a day goes by that a coach doesn’t express to me their desire to go deeper with their clients. To explore the Emotional level of consciousness, to heal the heart of the inner child and to truly bring in the Spiritual level of consciousness into their work with clients.
If this is calling you, my Soul Care Coaching Certification doors are open and the early bird pricing ends Dec 20th!
We have a wonderful group forming! We’d love to have you!
